My name is Carrie Sikich, and I am a student at Marquette University. I just finished my Sophomore year, and am a Middle/Secondary Education and English LA double major with  a minor in history. Other than education, my interests include reading, writing, dance, music, baseball (watching, definitely NOT playing,) and cooking. I am a huge  Cubs fan, and Wrigley Field is my favorite place on earth. I love Chicago and Milwaukee, but I am excited to expand my horizons to South America.

 

I am studying abroad for a month this summer in Peru. I will be observing/teaching in classrooms in Lima, Cusco, and Ollantaytanbo. Going to Peru will be my first time leaving North America (I went on a weekend trip to Niagara Falls when I was 11.)  I am SO excited, and cannot wait to share my experiences while abroad.
